What do I need to apply or register for a position through Social Care 4U?

We take our role of providing quality social care workers extremely seriously and in order to register with us, we will require the following information,

An emailed Curriculum Vitae / Résumé

Contact details of three references

Police clearance certificate

Copies of any relevant qualifications

A face to face interview

A photocopy (which we will copy in house)of your passport or other form of photo ID

Who do I need to talk to about finding employment?

You can contact one of our consultants between the hours of 8am & 8pm UK time they will be happy to help you to make the right decision, based on our excellent matching service.

How soon can I start employment?

Usually within a week after interview provided all paper work in order, unless the manager has specified otherwise.

When will I get paid?

After receiving a signed time sheet agreeing your hours worked from yourself or your manager we will send it through to our finance section who run a pay roll once a week, so on your first week of employment you get paid on the Friday of the following week, then each Friday after that.

What if I do not have any time sheets?

You are able to download time sheets from our website www.socialcare4u.co.uk or you can ask a consultant to fax you a copy.

Will I be able to start a job with one reference?

No, Social Care 4U requires at least 3 references to commence any post within the social care field.

What if I gained my degree overseas?

You are able to have your qualification verified by general Social care Council contact us for further details and we can help you to obtain an application form.

I have recently arrived in the UK where can I find accommodation?

One of our consultants will provide you with an accommodation list

Will the job be near to where I live?

We aim to find your job within easy travelling distance for all UK workers for workers from overseas we ask that you wait until we have located you a suitable position we will then support you in finding suitable accommodation near to your place of work.

Do I get holiday pay?

Yes, you receive working time directive, please ask one of our consultants for more details on your entitlement.

Will I be given a bonus? And how do I claim my bonus?

All our workers receive bonuses after a short qualifying period please talk to your consultants about any bonus you can receive and how to claim for this.
